Peaberries are a kind of coffee seed that forms individually inside the coffee cherry, as opposed to when the fruit typically develops two "flat" beans, which are larger and sit together like peanuts in a shell. The smaller, denser peaberries tend to have a higher potency of flavor.
This particular lot of peaberry beans produce a cup that is sugary and heavy with cooked fruit, caramel, rich cocoa, and brown sugar flavors. We can’t imagine a better cup of coffee with which to welcome October. Drink up and enjoy!
